Carved lines are filled with white slip and then the surface is shaved clean. The raw clay pattern is accented with dots of clay and additionally patterned in a glossy white glaze that accentuates the speckled clay.

All mugs are hand thrown from stoneware clay.

Mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe, although hand-washing is the safest option for any ceramic object to avoid chipping or cracking if dishes knock together.
