Carved lines are filled with white slip and then the surface is scraped clean to reveal patterned clay inlay. Additional blocks of color are added in a variety of glaze which is sometimes also brushed with a pattern in this collection.

All mugs are hand thrown from stoneware clay.

Mugs are dishwasher and microwave safe, although hand-washing is the safest option for any ceramic object to avoid chipping or cracking if dishes knock together.
